What is a Carrier Neutral Data Center?

A neutral datacenter that does not force you to use the colocation provider's network. You connect your equipment directly to the carriers of your choice via cross-connects.

Which carriers can I access via cross-connect?

At the Ascenty/Digital Realty campus in São Paulo, Brazil (SP1, SP2, SP3, SP4 and SP5) you have direct access to Tier 1 carriers such as Cogent, Hurricane Electric (HE), Lumen/Cirion, NTT, Telxius, in addition to Gcore, Datapacket/CDN77, Cloudflare, NetIX, IX.br, DE-CIX, Digital Realty Service Fabric and many other carriers and IXs present on campus. It is also possible to receive transport from other datacenters.

How much does a cross-connect cost?

Each cross-connect costs $105/month (fixed monthly). The client must provide the required GBIC/SFP for the connection.

What is the management port?

The management port is a dedicated network port for remote access to your equipment via IPMI (iDRAC/iLO/iBMC). It is independent of your main connectivity via cross-connect.

What is the setup fee?

The setup is the one-time fee charged for installing your equipment (server, router, switch, etc.) in the rack. The fee includes physical installation, power cables and basic organization.

Technical support service for physical maintenance of your equipment at the datacenter (servers, routers, switches, etc.). Includes parts replacement, reboot, OS installation and other tasks. $42/hour + $21 activation outside business hours.

Does my equipment need dual power supplies?

No. For equipment without redundant power supplies we allocate it on a PDU with two power feeds to guarantee redundancy.

Can I place more than 1 server?

Yes, especially in plans above 10U. Respect the contracted power limit.

How does the cross-connect work?

You contract the cross with the desired carrier (or IX). We perform the physical cross-connect on campus. The HypeHost cross monthly fee is $105 per cross (client provides the GBIC/SFP). The carrier charges separately for the port/bandwidth.

Can I purchase additional IPs?

Yes. Additional IPs are available upon justification. Each additional IP costs $3/month.

Can I purchase additional kVa?

Yes. Additional kVa costs $250 per kVa (in 200W increments).

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept bank transfer, credit card and cryptocurrencies.

Is there a contract term?
